Bridges are fascinating structures.

Utah happens to have more natural arches and sandstone bridges than any other region in North America, and perhaps the world. Yes, they connect two or more natural structures, but they also help us to connect to our innate sense of awe, wonder, of gratitude for the order and entropy of the Universe.

Man-made bridges allow us to move across expanse and over obstacles. They provide for an economy of time and energy expenditure. In short, they help us get things done with greater ease.

Bridge Utah helps people ease across their own life’s bridges with gratitude and positivity. Every Bridge participant understands that we are here to support and lift one another.

We’ve all been there.

Some of us, multiple times. The bills are being paid… almost. Perhaps that medical expense just drained the savings account, and the bonus from work won’t show up for another three weeks. Maybe all three of the kids needed new shoes and dental work at the same time. Or the market crashed around the consumer loans that were going to pay for all of that business you just wrote, along with the wages for your crew and suppliers… Life can absolutely suck at times.

We don’t care.

Actually, we do care, but we don’t need to hear your story and burden you with our judgement regarding your circumstances. All we need to know is that you could use a hand, maybe for a minute. Maybe for an hour. Maybe for a few weeks. BRIDGE Utah operates on the premise of momentum. We care that you can use some groceries. You can use the edge being taken off of the hardened blades of life’s challenges. You appreciate being a giver and recognize that for there to be a giver, there must also be a receiver.

Come across.

Momentum will get us through challenging times, one “life step” at a time. Come into our facility and get a couple of bags of produce, dairy, meat, and baked goods. Every day is a different situation at our pantry. Generous donations from local grocery resources allow us to offer those in the community a “bridge across the kitchen table”. We can’t solve all of your problems, but we can solve helping you with the next few meals so that YOU have more energy to take on your world. We can build a bridge between a tight budget and food in the refrigerator.

Your tax-deductible contribution helps us to build the BRIDGE.
